Abstract

Wilayah kabupaten lamongan merupakan pemukiman padat penduduk dan Pertambakan.  Tingginya aktifitas tambak lambat laun menjadi ancaman pada kualitas air di perairan sekitar dan memerlukan perhatian khusus, karena ancaman yang terjadi dapat menyebabkan kefatalan dan/atau dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan fisik lamongan sendiri. Kesesuaian kualitas air pada tambak udang akan berperan terhadap kondisi dan performa udang yang dibudidayakan. Secara tidak langsung kondisi parameter kualitas air dengan kadar konsentrasi yang stabil dan ideal akan memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap tingkat produktifitas panen udang. Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam melakukan kegiatan pembesaran udang vannamei adalah tingkat produktivitas yang rendah, disebabkan kualitas air menurun akan menimbulkan masalah pada budidaya tambak udang. Petambak dilamongan masih awam pengetahuannya mengenai pentingnya kualitas air dan akibat yang akan di timbulkan jika kualitas air semakin memburuk. Selain itu ketersediann alat pengukur kualitas air yang terbatas membuat petani mengalami kesulitan untuk melakukan pengecekan kualitas air secara lengkap Oleh karena itu, melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, Program Studi magister Budidaya Perairan, Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan, Universitas Brawijaya berupaya menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut dengan memberikan pelatihan pengukuran kualitas air melalui workshop secara hybrid dan pemberian alat pengukuran kualitas air. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terlaksananya kegiatan workshop secara hybrid dan pemberian alat pengukuran kualitas air kepada para petambak di Kawasan Tambak 74,2 Desa Kandang Semangkon, Kec. Paciran Kab. Lamongan

 

The Lamongan district area is densely populated with residential areas and fish farms. The high level of pond activity is gradually becoming a threat to the water quality in the surrounding waters and requires special attention, because the threat that occurs can cause fatalities and/or have a negative impact on the physical environment of Lamongan itself. Suitability of water quality in shrimp ponds will play a role in the condition and performance of cultivated shrimp. Indirectly, water quality parameter conditions with stable and ideal concentration levels will have a positive influence on the level of shrimp harvest productivity. The problem faced in carrying out vannamei shrimp rearing activities is the low level of productivity, due to decreased water quality which will cause problems in shrimp pond cultivation. Farmers in Lamongan still have little knowledge about the importance of water quality and the consequences that will arise if water quality gets worse. Apart from that, the limited availability of water quality measuring equipment makes it difficult for farmers to carry out complete water quality checks. Therefore, through this community service activity, the Aquaculture Master's Study Program, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya is trying to solve this problem by providing training on water quality measurements through hybrid workshops and providing water quality measurement tools. The results of this activity were the implementation of hybrid workshop activities and the provision of water quality measurement tools to farmers in the Pond Area 74.2, Kandang Semangkon Village, Kec. Paciran District. Lamongan
